I'm looking for a free or very low cost program that will rip CD
music in the format that Xatshow (5.1 beta) can use. This leads to 2
quick questions:

1. Can you recommend a free or low cost program that'll do a good
job ripping from CDs in a format useable by Xatshow (see P.S.); and

2. What are the chances that a near future version of Xatshow will
accommodate MP3 PRO format files? That seems to be the format many
of the ripping programs create.

Thanks!

Lee

P.S.: I've tried Audiograbber, Nero, and Adaptec's CD Spin Doctor.
I downloaded a codec for Audiograbber that will rip to an MP3 format
Xatshow can use but the sound quality was poor.

Use CDEX, freeware:
