Chris,
The timeline feature is excellent!!! I also like the
ability to preview and the v-v feature. I can't seem
to get the v-v feature to work all of the time though.

Chris, downloaded xatshow 7.0 DVD beta 4. Worked very well.
Generated one show 3-titles (menu), and one 200+ show with no menu.
Several photo's on the show have "flickering", or glimmer on
horizontal edges and the "striped shirt" flicker one gets on TV's. I
was hoping your "flicker filter" would eliminate the effect, but it
didn't. I have gotten this effect on other programs (nero). Should
not use zoom transition as it makes it worse. Anybody else have this
effect? It might help to allow DVD burn at 704x480. Your SVCD shows
do not have this "flicker" problem.

A few problems: 1)when using the sequencer file 1, file 2, file 3
(three shows with menu)ended up as F3, F2, F1, and I could not re-
order them. Finally, deleted them from Sequencer then added back in
F1, F2, F3 and it was OK.

Did the menu show on DVD-RW works on PC and TV, did no menu show on
DVD+R worked on TV, on PC sound no photo's??

Dear all,
I have downloaded this to try because I knew the amount of files I
wanted to include were probably too big for a CD.
So thought being able to use the programme with a DVD the answer.
I do have a DVD recorder drive, and use Nero for burning.

How do I set it to A DVD rather than CD?
I wanted to use the auto create with transitions and music with the
slide show set to show the photos once only.
When I add the music file and click create, the warning comes up that
the file is 7025 MB and too big for a CD.
Can anyone please tell me where I am going wrong?
Thanks Mick.

>It wrote the entire directory to the DVD. All my old shows etc.
That's not a bug its a feature. Its so you can include any files you
like on the DVD. You are supposed to specify an empty folder for the
build. I grant you we could be more user friendly here ...

Can you tell me more about your setup eg PAL/NTSC, DVD-R/RW etc?

1. Not a big problem and yes it is good to know I can put a lot of
other stuff on the CD. What immediately comes to mind is an
original/high quality copy of the pictures.
2+3. I am using NTSC and I burned to a DVD+R disk. On the options page
I have transition 1 sec. and apply anti flicker 6% as the only options
taken.

Probably not going to give enough information but I will try.
I pre cropped all my photos to 4x3 and reduced the resolution
They went ok for slide shows of 600 or so photos with music, in DVD
mode,
But it crashed every time if I tried to add the screensaver as well.

I found my problem with missing music. The DVD player I was testing
with was the problem. Three other DVD players in the house produced
the music OK. Darn it this is my supposedly good DVD player connected
to the home theatre system. All my cheap DVD players work fine.

Tested the official release as well and it works for me.
