I have a MP3 I want to use, but not the whole thing. Does anyone
know of any program I can use to cut part of the song out? Thanks

MP3Cutter is freeware. It is at: http://mp3cutter.cjb.net/

The functionality of this piece of freeware changed dramatically between
the released versions with new version not always including the same
things as older versions. Version 2 is what I use - it works fine
dispite the warning message about running on NT (I use XP).

I haven't found many programs that actually directly edit MP3s -
especially for free.

Fyi,
D.

Hello robin

Another user spotted this:

I found some adequate, not-so-expensive (US$19.95)software to edit/cut/tag the
MP3's called: "MP3 Surgeon2"
http://www.mp3surgeon.co.uk/

But any sound editor should work.

Chris.

I did find a program that is also free and seems easy to use. Audacity.com
. Thanks for your help.
