Screensaver via Demo - what am I doing wrong?

At that point I hadn't tried anything other than slideshows / screensavers.
I haven't been able to reproduce the difficulty; for that matter it only
happened on my own machine - which, given the amount of installing and
uninstalling of software and other general mucking about is probably as
stable as... oh, let's say Windows 3.1 B-}
In any case, I've been sufficiently impressed to buy the pro version. It
was pretty amazing to do a very lazy copy of 84 pictures taken at the 2002
Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, put them into a folder, and
then use the defaults to generate a disc that (when burned with Nero)
worked directly and perfectly with my DVD player / TV combination. This
includes, of course, the pictures I had neglected to rotate into the
correct orientation - as I've noted, I was doing a really quick job to show
someone the possibilities and speed involved. I think from the point where
I started until the point the disc was in the DVD player was perhaps 10
minutes but certainly fewer than 15.
Next I'm going to try to produce a coherent ordering of 70+ above-ground
nuclear tests photos with Holst's "Mars, bringer of war" for the background
music.
