i hope this will help with the transitions on the dvd player
the dvd player does not have a cpu like your computer does
there for the dvd player can't play a svcd with transitions
i know you did not want to hear that
but i'm sorry
on the other hand some other program that make the svcd
attach the transitions to the photos to get them to work
that is why they have poor quality photos
