transitions for vide CD/DVD

I read another posting in this forum concerning slide transitions for
the Video CD/DVD. The response said that version 5.0 doesn't allow it
but version 5.1 does. I downloaded 5.1 and created a Video CD/DVD but
I still didn't get the slide transitions- it just switches to the
next picture immediately. I currently have the standard edition. Can
anybody help? I did make sure all the transition check boxes are
checked, and they are set for random.

Thank you.

You need the beta for the transitions and to set the resolution lower (it will take a long time to generate).

I tried 5.1. The results w/o transitions in DVD playback are excellent. I do not find that lower resolution playback in order to obtain transitions is any improvement. Maybe a later version that achieves max resolution and transitions will be forthcoming? Anyway, the big improvement I find with this version is the provision for archiving the photos. Keep up the good work on an excellent product.

I tried the 5.1 eng version 5, CD/DVD with Transitions on (3)
different DVD player and the following resulted on all.

. Screen flickers & music breaks up.
. Transitions are skippy & jerky.
. Pictures are blurred and distorted
. Incomplete screen painting & some transitions are faster then
others.
. Also the amount of time to create a CD with Transistions increased
substantially.
