Widescreen(16:9) option

I am looking for a software package to display my photos at high
resolution on my Sony Grand Wega 60" Projection LCD HDTV. So far,
this program appears to be the best I have found. I am using the
Digital Camera option and placing the photos on a Memory Stick.

However, even at the highest resolution (1600 X 1200), the pictures
only fill about 2/3 of the screen. I have tried using the Widescreen
(16:9), using the 'crop to fit' checkbox. The photos look great
when viewed with XatShow, however, the .JPG files that are generated
are not 16 X 9. They are a standard size, but "squished"
horizontally. They appear this way in the Windows Image Viewer as
well as on my TV.

Any ideas?

I would actually like to see some higher resolution options
available. I don't mind black on the edges of the screen if it
would fill the rest of the screen.
