I also have a sony dvd player and it will only play
cdrw's. I found the less expensive cdrw's will not work either.

that I am still playing around with before putting them onto non re writab
le disc to keep. I just think that I am trying to do too many things at on
ce anymore but at the stage of my life want to get as much done as possible

Boy isn't that the truth. But then when my husband was living I would not h
ave had the time to be on here like I am now. I have only had a computer fo
r a little less than three years but love it and am always trying to learn
different stuff on here. I just finished an online course in using Adobe Ph
otoshop 6.0 but still not too good at using it but am able to do more with
it than I could six weeks ago.
I used to do a lot of photography and had my own darkroom but now where I a
m living I do not have the room to set it up so I am doing most of the thin
gs on here but it is not the same. Miss that smell of the darkroom and the
satisfaction of taking a negative and coming up with a nice print but life
goes on and we have to adjust to it. Sandy

Since I'm completely new at this, is this how it works?
I have a bunch of pics of my grandkid. Do I make a dir with the
software? and then pick my CD burner from the list to actually write
the file? And, I have a sony DVD player( 5 disks) I have read the
manual, but it doesn't say if it will play CDR or CDRW just that it
will play VCD's

Hello,
I usually make a folder of the images in the correct order and then open xa
t and select to make a vcd. I want to manually adjust and crop and then I
go to the Sequencer after completing the settings. In Sequencer I create a
menu and then a New slide show and add the files. I look at them all indivi
dually to see if they want enhancing or adjustments to the crop. Then I cli
ck on Create tab and that opens up Nero and I just follow through. A vcd sh
ould be created and that should play on most dvd players. I have used cdr a
nd cdrw and both work perfectly well.

Hi, I am using PCLine and TDK which seem to work ok. Rw are very handy for
experimenting.
