Manual VCD Show w/ Music - auto advances

When i create a manual VCD show with music - the slides advance
automatically on my Shinsonic player. If I press the forward or
backward key it moves to the very first slide.

I have the following settings on the sequencer tab for the root of the
entire show:

*) Manual = checked
*) Sync to Music = unchecked
*) Spaced to Music Length = unchecked

The following settings on the "Options" tab of the VCD settings:

*) Manual = checked
*) Sync to Music = unchecked
*) Spaced to Music Length = unchecked

The PC Slide show that cranks out works just as expected. The music
plays, but I can use forward and backward to move through the slides
freely.

D.

Hello Darwin

VCDs work differently to PC slideshows especially with music.

With VCDs, your music and pictures are turned into a movie ie the sound and
pictures are combined together. With a PC slideshow they remain separate.

This means that with a VCD you can't skip from picture to picture without
skipping the music too. The next button takes you to the end of the music (back
to the start if you have one music track)

Chris.

MessageHello Darwin,
That's just another reason I don't add music to the tv shows. I can skip ba
ckwards and forwards, one slide at a time, much more convenient.
John
