In the "Which is not an excuse for not replacing the parrot?" question you say: "Tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk" is the right answer. Sounds like another excuse to me?!

"Tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk" was an excuse, but it was an excuse for the parrot being motionless when the parrot was bought in the first pace, not a reason for not replacing it later
