5.10 Beta 1
Chris, The Slideshow tab with reordering is nice although I would love to be able to delete an image instead of having to return to the sequencer. As for VCD transitions, my first try was very, very slow in rendering and the the transitions (fade) were terrible. Appeared as if the images were subjected to some type filter during the transitions. Has anyone else reported anything similar? Given the diminished quality and the slow rendering time, I won't be creating VCD shows with transitions. I really wish it was not an option since some inexperienced users will probably use it and then complain about the poor quality, and not mention that the quality of the images on VCDs without transitions is IMO one of (if not) the best available. Hello lester >The Slideshow tab with reordering is nice although I would love to >be able to delete an image instead of having to return to the >sequencer. Good point, I'll pass that on. >As for VCD transitions, my first try was very, very slow in >rendering and the the transitions (fade) were terrible. Its a bug, well an experiment we left in in error. Beta 2 fixes it. Chris. |

Hi, I said this a while back, you will lose quality when applying transitions ( at least that is what I believe) I for one just want good quality, if not g ood they are not worth watching. I have tried other programs in the past an d they have produced a little shudder when using transitions. I just don't think they are necessary on a tv presentation. Can be a distr action. I feel it is a waste of programmers efforts at this present time. John |
