XP Problem - Multiple slideshows
Hello Doug >Why is it that when the screensaver is installed in Windows XP, it is >listed as "Show" instead of the name of the screensaver? Under Windows >2000, it lists the name of the screensaver. > >The biggest problem is that only one XatShow screensaver can be installed >in XP, whereas on W2K I can install as many as I want. I have XP and can have multiple xatshow slideshows. It is true that the slideshow on a VideoCd is always called SHOW.EXE, and you can only have one of them. Is that what you mean? Chris. |

Chris, I produced three different slide shows which I am selling. They are created as VideoCD's with the option for installation on a PC. When I install on my W2K machine I have three different options of screensavers, each bearing the name of the slideshow. When I install the same three on my XP laptop, I get one option, "Show." That's how it appears in the Screen Saver pull-down on the desktop properties window. I don't have the names of the screensavers, just "Show." Doug |
