I found a site dvdrhelp.com. It gives vcd compatibility for dvd players and has a forum where people tell what brand works on that dvd player. I tried Sony cdrw's and it works perfectly. I guess fugi changed something in their cdrw's because they used to work, but don't anymore. thanks for all the help robin
