Burning the ISO to VCD concept-Fixed
Hi I usually post here quite often but have been tied up with other projects s o have not used my Xat for a while now. I love the program as a general rul e but also have not been able to get transitions to work on the DVD player for me but the newer beta version is supposed to allow that but I hate to c hance messing up the one I have on here but downloading the new one too but may give it a shot. I do VCD's quite often from all of my photos as it is a great way to share the images rather than just as snapshots that only one person can look at. Sandy |

Burning the ISO to VCD concept-Fixed
Well it seems my old burner(an 8x sony-writer) isn't working too nice with EZCD-5, so I went to my XP box (48X Lg Writer) and the automatic incorpotaion worked fine. Too bad Transitions don't work on the DVD player-but it will make some great X-mas presents for my friends ! Lets see if we can get this forum rolling -as it looks like it's been a bit quiet. Perhaps another review on LockerGnome may help... I'll give them a shout ! |

Burning the ISO to VCD concept-Fixed
Hi Ron I use that one too but have had a problem with it lately in that I get all sorts of error reports when I go to burn a VCD so will remove it and reinst all it again and yes I like it also. I just have had such good luck with Xa t other than the transmissions that I use it most of the time. Also with the other one, I do not care for the way that it looks on the com puter but do like it for the television. Sandy |

Burning the ISO to VCD concept-Fixed
Hi John I still like it too as the pix are always so nice and clear and although I would not mind seeing some of the transitions after a while it would be min d boggling as you would not really be looking at the pix themselves which i s the whole object of the shows to me Sandy |

Burning the ISO to VCD concept-Fixed
Hi Sandy i hope this will help with the transitions on the dvd player the dvd player does not have a cpu like your computer does there for the dvd player can't play a svcd with transitions i know you did not want to hear that but i'm sorry on the other hand some other program that make the svcd attach the transitions to the photos to get them to work that is why they have poor quality photos david |

I'm with John Greenwood, whose advice I have followed since I started producing slide shows more than a year ago XAT is easy to set up and provides excellent quality if you keep it simple and forget about the transitions for TV veiwing. If you must have transitions, view the shows on your computer monitor. Also, it is the only program I know of which allows you to control the time each individual image in the show stays on the screen. You do this by setting the time to zero (0) and controlling the show with your remote. At 02:12 PM 04/12/2003, you wrote: >Hi, >In my opinion and after trying out most of these programs I am convinced >that Chris's XAT is the best quality performer. I agree with John also. I tried out several different programs and keep coming back to xatshow. The only feature I would like to see is a preview. robin |

Hi, In my opinion and after trying out most of these programs I am convinced th at Chris's XAT is the best quality performer. I just make tv shows with no transitions and the quality of the images is excellent. John PS Hello Sandy |
