The registered/licenced version can burn to DVD. Any reason why it couldn’t burn to CD, which would make production much cheaper and usability much greater?

The VideoCD is a very old format and very limited and not good enough to support anything as complex as a quiz so CD.
You could make a Mini-DVD (DVD on a CD) but not all DVD layers support it and you'd need an external burner such as Nero to make it. The registered version can also burn to rewritable media (DVD-RW, DVD+RW) which is supported by the majority of DVD players. You could put a web quiz on a CD with autorun to start it when the disc is inserted but this would only function on a PC and wouldn't be full screen. Chris. |
